Dino Dig Crew: Fossil Blast
This policy explains what information Dino Dig Crew: Fossil Blast, made by Jones & Sons Apps LLC, stores and how it's used.
1.Ages
Dino Dig Crew is for ages 13 and up. It is not directed at children under 13.
2.Gameplay stats, ads and phone access
- No ads and no ad networks.
- The game records anonymous gameplay stats: app opens and how long the game is open, levels and rescue missions played and won, coins earned in each level, phone type (Android or iPhone), and purchases with their price. When the game is opened for the first time, it also records which link or ad led to the download (for example a Facebook ad, our website or the Google Play store), as reported by Google Play. These are tied to a random ID made on the phone. They are not linked to your name or email, and are only used to improve the game. There is no third-party analytics.
- No crash-reporting services.
- The game doesn't access your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.
3.Stored only on your phone
Your game progress (levels, stars, coins, boosters and settings) is saved on your device. It stays only on your device unless you sign in.
4.What we store
Whether or not you sign in, we store:
- Anonymous gameplay stats (see above), kept on our Supabase server.
You can also choose to sign in with an email address (optional cloud save). We email you a 6-digit sign-in code. There are no passwords. If you sign in, we also store:
- your email address, used only to sign you in and send the code
- a copy of your game progress (cloud save), including records of your purchases so they can be restored on a new phone
- a game profile: a random player ID (like DIG-AB12CD), a digger name picked from a fixed list of words (players can't type their own), a cartoon avatar, your level, stars, fossil and gold counts, and badges
- online play data: friends (added only by exact player ID), lives and stickers sent between friends, weekly race points, Dig Crew membership, and crew chat (preset phrases only, no free typing)
5.What other players can see
Other players can see your digger name, avatar, player ID, level, stars and badges on leaderboards, friends lists and crews. They can never see your email address.
6.Notifications
If you allow notifications, the game stores a notification token for your phone, with its random ID, on our Supabase server so we can send game news (like events and sales). Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers these notifications. We record when a notification is tapped, to see which messages are useful. Daily reminders are scheduled on your phone itself. You can turn notifications off at any time in the game's Settings or in your phone's settings.
7.Service providers
- Supabase: database, sign-in and cloud save hosting.
- Resend: sends the sign-in code emails.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivers push notifications.
- Google Play (and later Apple's App Store) handles all payments. We never see or store card or payment details; we only get a purchase confirmation so we can deliver the item.
- Game updates download from our Supabase storage. Only the app version is sent to check for updates.
8.In-app purchases
Optional coins, boosters, bundles and a Crew Pass.
9.Security
The game uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Each player can only read and change their own save, and this is enforced on the server.
10.We don't sell your data
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising. Because of this, there is nothing to opt out of under laws like California's CCPA.
11.How long we keep data
Gameplay stats are kept for up to 2 years. Your account, cloud save and profile are kept until you delete your account, and are then removed within 30 days.
12.Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Big changes will also be announced in the game.
13.Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data. Use the contact form on this website.
